Paul Scholes was charged with unhealthy conduct by the Soccer Affiliation after allegedly putting 140 bets on soccer matches.
The previous Manchester United and England midfielder reportedly positioned bets, in violation of FA guidelines, between August 17, 2015 and January 12, 2019.
He reportedly took bets on soccer matches, opposite to the E8 rule of the FA, whereas he was co-owner of Salford Metropolis.
He just lately took the place of director of Oldham in February 2019 and resigned as director of Salford, however resigned after 31 days on the head of Boundary Park.
Scholes, 44, has till April 26, 2019 to answer the cost.
