Roger Federer will try and win gold in 2020. The Swiss star confirmed Monday that he would play for Switzerland on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
"I’ve been speaking with my staff for just a few weeks, just a few months really, about what I needs to be doing in the course of the summer season (in 2020) after Wimbledon and earlier than the US Open," stated Federer, based on Olympic Channel.
"I’ve worn the flag twice for Switzerland in Athens and Beijing.I’ve a gold medal and a silver medal.I'll love play once more and I'm very excited. "

Federer competed in 4 Olympic Video games, profitable the gold medal in doubles with Stan Wawrinka in Beijing 2008 and profitable the silver medal in singles at London 2012 (in Murray).
